Thanks for the input James. I may try heeling them in next year. One concern with that is monitoring the water requirement, but I will figure something out.
I thought about joining and attending some meetings but I live about an hour away for ABG and have a previous commitment for the third Saturday of each month, which seems to be the meeting day of choice. I was at the spring show last Saturday with my wife ... we had a ball.

I am a novice at bonsai, with styling my first tree last summer (2014). This is my first winter and I have been moving my trees into my garage during our really cold snaps here in GA. I was just wondering what was the norm and how more experienced veterans handle the colder times. Moving the trees in and out is a little time consuming and as my bonsai garden expands, this could be very time consuming, not to mention space consuming? Any thoughts?
